Invitation to Bid

The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through its Bids and Awards Committee [BAC] invites interested contractors with valid PCAB licenses and registration (at least “Small B” category) to submit sealed bids, for the following project:

Name of Project : Deepwell Rehabilitation of Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital(Recasing of Existing Deepwell)
Location : Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental
Scope of Work : Mobilization/Demobilization, Site Preparation & Equipment set-up, Airlifting, Installation of casings, screens, gravel pack materials, well cap, 4 hrs water jetting, 6 hrs pumping test, pump/motor installation with controls/protection, testing and commissioning(inlcudes submission of accomplishment report)

Project Duration : 60 CD

Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, at least one (1) contract similar to the Project, and must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to be bid. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

Prospective bidders shall log-in/order the Invitation To Bid for the contract to be bid from PhilGEPS. Bidders shall likewise submit Letter of Expression and must present their original PCAB License.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Prospective bidders must carefully read the “Instruction to Bidders” and comply the requirements stated therein.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Php 1,000.00.

Issuance of Bid Documents : July 19-August 8, 2024
Deadline of Submission and Receipt of Bids : August 8, 2024, 2:00pm
Opening of Bids : August 8, 2024, 2:30pm
Place: Bidding Room, Door 2, Negros Residences, North Capitol Road, Bacolod City

The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
