Steel sheet piles that are widely used in the construction of river embankments, quay walls of ports, retaining walls, cut-off walls, earthquake strengthening structures, and in many other types of construction work are becoming increasingly important.

A sheet pile is a pressed or molded sheet metal that is properly used as a retaining wall system. It has been classified as a flexible retaining system and can be used for several purposes such as: large waterfront structures, erosion protection, stabilizing ground slopes, flood control, cofferdam, shoring wall of trenches and excavations, and for any projects requiring retention walls.
