It’s Nutrient

Vermicast nutrient content varies with earthworm feed type, feeding biomass waste to earthworms does cause nitrogen mineralization, followed by phosphorous and sulfur mineralization after egestion. This organic fertilizer may contain 5-10% total Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, other micronutrients, and about more than 35% Organic matter.

Nitrogen plays a vital role in building thick, green lawns, vegetables, and other crops. It is a key component of chlorophyll, which is responsible for absorbing light energy and converting it into sugars for the plant. Additionally, nitrogen is essential for regulating plant growth and development.

Phosphorus is essential for the general health and vigor of all plants. Some growth factors associated with phosphorus include stimulated root development and increased stalk and stem strength.

Potassium helps plants increase resistance to disease and drought. It helps with the movement of water, nutrients, and carbohydrates in plant tissue.

Organic matter plays a crucial role in maintaining soil health. It serves as a "revolving nutrient fund," constantly providing nutrients to plants as they grow. Additionally, it helps to improve soil structure, prevent erosion, and maintain tilth. One of the most important functions of organic matter is its ability to aid in the conversion of nitrogen to a form that is available to plants.
