About Northern Gas Corporation
In 1964, Northern Gas Corporation (NGC) was established and registered as a business enterprise in the marketing of LPG and related products/equipment. It started operations as a small store catering to the household end-users’ needs for LPG and cooking equipment mainly in the northern part of Metro Manila. At that time, the use of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) in heating/cooking equipment was a new development in the market. Promoting the use of LPG then was a pioneering effort with great challenges, on the part of a few companies like NGC.
