Kai Anya Foods is a seafood, poultry and meat distribution company which caters to both wholesale and food service industry. The company was incorporated in February 28, 2008 under Kai-Anya Foods, Inc. and is a subsidiary of St. Joseph Group, Inc. which has over 30 years of experience in the fishing industry.
The inception of Kai Anya Foods was an offshoot in the establishment of St. Joseph Group, Inc., a company founded by Warlito and Carmelita Manlapaz, formerly a corporate business executive and a school teacher, respectively. The entrepreneurial spirit of this couple was into the operation of fish brokerage stalls.
In November 2017, the company was officially incorporated and renamed as Kai Anya Foods Int’l Corp. It envisions to become the leading food solutions specialist in the seafood, meat, poultry as well as ready-to-eat processed food both in the food service & retail industry.
Throughout the years, Kai Anya is in the forefront of addressing the needs of its roster of clients from the hotels, restaurants, canteens, and catering institutions and is consistently offering solutions and providing a variety of both local and imported high quality products sourced out from the best producers in the United States of America, Canada, Europe, and Asian countries like Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, and China.
Kai Anya Foods owns and manages a processing plant at Premier Port corner Bulungan Streets, Navotas Fish Port Complex in Navotas City. The plant follows a systematic workflow in the processing of various products. It employs consistent, reliable, and stringent measures in product handling from the time the raw materials reached the processing plant until the products are ready for delivery. All products thoroughly undergo quality control upon processing and are properly stored in cold storage with controlled and monitored temperature. The products are loaded in well-maintained reefer vans which guarantee the freshness state of products upon customer delivery.
The company has a HACCP-certified plant, implements Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), is NMIS-certified, and has been granted with a License to Operate permit by the Bureau of Food and Drugs.
